The first thing you need is hope.

By the time couples approach therapy, they're usually saying things like, 'I can't do this anymore' or 'I'm sick and tired of the same arguments'. There is usually doubt that things can get better.

At this point, what you need is hope and a belief that you will see the change you need to continue the relationship.

Most of the time, it's not that people don't want to change, it's that they don't know how. Therapy is not a last resort, it's actually the first step toward understanding yourselves, your partners and your path toward changing the behaviours that are interfering with the quality of your lives.

Helping people understand themselves better within relationships, working through longstanding attachment issues while breaking unhealthy habits and unhelpful cycles.

Helping individuals understand, process and heal from traumatic events and memories, using EMDR to build resilience and provide a sense of safety.
